Yes. If however you do not have electric brakes fitted to your vehicle we have a portable electric brake system available for a minimal fee ($55/hire). This portable unit will work on most vehicles. Should you arrive to pick up a van and this is the case you will not unfortunately be able to hire the van.

What is my vehicle towing capacity?

The towing capacity of your vehicle will be detailed on your tow car, or in your vehicle manual. You may also find this website quite useful – carsguide.com.au/towing-capacity – however please remember that vehicles differ so please check within your specific vehicle. We will require proof of appropriate towing capacity prior to departure.

Can I leave the fridge running whilst driving?

If you want to run the caravan fridge whilst you are travelling you will need to have a 12 pin plug with a 12v hot-wire fitted to your vehicle or a 7 pin plug & Anderson plug. Please DO NOT run the fridge on gas whilst travelling.

Pickup & Return Questions

What happens on pick-up day?

On the day of pick-up please allow at least half an hour for an introduction on how your van operates. Although the large majority of the information you need to know will be contained within manuals and our instructional videos, we will still cover many basics. We also invite you to inspect the van for marks or damage before the unit is towed away, as any damage thereafter will be considered to have been caused by the hirer and may result in deduction from the Bond.

I like the idea of arriving and having everything already set up for us. Is this an option?

Yes. From destination to equipment, we can either work with you to the level you would like us to. Many of our bookings involve us delivering a caravan to a destination and have everything set up ready for you to walk in. Here is a sample of what we can do however please contact us to discuss your specific ideas for your next holiday.

Do I have to clean the caravan before I return it?
